所以說
即使最低工資有天生的不足，但面對這些毫無人性的資本家，又叫人怎可以反對最低工資的立法呢？

這與最低工資有甚麼關係？
最低工資禍害多與利，這是一般的經濟常識
到時影響層面不止低下階層，整個社會的基本運作也有影響

做得好!
另一方面，看到這些新聞，我真的覺得很費解：想盡量賺得多，確是人之常情；但去到這種地步，真的就可以多賺很多嗎？此外，制定出以至執行這些政策的人，他們自己為甚麼會過得自己的良心呢？這些人不是甚麼怪獸，往往乃是跟你跟我一樣有血有肉的人，額頭上不會刻有「無良」二字。是甚麼使他們變成麻目不仁的呢？你我今天口裡說的漂亮，但會否有朝一日都會變成這樣呢？
唯有慎微看守自己，莫以惡小而為之。

稅務的方法有很多種，不同意「加稅又怕趕走投資」這點。
例如紅酒稅這些針對性的稅項。（預算案取消紅酒稅令我很傷感，有錢人在玩政治；註：另一方面我非常愛酒，但倒不介意紅酒稅）
當年學習taxation，就明白一個道理：香港的稅制是貧富懸殊的推手。
至於是否要加稅，看看這幾年政府的財務空間是如何樂觀，和各政府部門又是如何大花費，人們收到退稅，窮人卻在通漲下越來越苦，這又是令人憤怒。
請細心想想，政府有能力卻正在逃避問題，人們不去針對，卻拿自由經濟的根基去把玩，說出甚麼最低工資。
最低工資是大禍害，越多人跌入最低工資的圈子，社會的失業率會更嚴重，遇著通漲一起出現便更糟。這是可預見的，若我是資本家，不用等甚麼失業、抄人，趁未爆煲前立刻走掉好了。

我想，的確，最低工資有先天的不足。
但當面對真正毫無人性的商家時，我實在想不出更好的辦法。方老師提到的辦法好像有經濟學家提過，類似是低收入補貼之類的。
我覺得，政府已經「畀足面」，商家仍要這樣賤格，怪得誰？

有個很出名的 Labor economist, David Card, 曾經說過: “The simple-minded theories that they teach you in economics don’t work for the labor market”. Card 有個研究是關於 New Jersey 的快餐行業和最低工資的, 結論是: “the minimum wage increase in New Jersey did not result in job reduction of fast food companies in that state”.
Card 不一定對, 但作為社會科學的經濟學很重視實證研究的, 也不要執著一兩個 concepts (自由經濟 vs 馬克思主義 ?!) 就下定論最低工資害多於利. 就是 quote Nobel Prize winners 也要看看 context. 另一位 Nobel Prize winner, Joseph Stiglitz, 接受 Card’s findings 的.

hystericireul: 記得馬克思說資本主義會自取滅亡嗎﹖
歐美的資本主義之所以沒滅亡，只是因為他們有民主，迫出「福利主義」來緩和資本主義的弊端而已。(當然，福利主義本身帶來其他問題，又是另一回事了)
香港雖然冇民主，但以前跟英國，所以沾了一些福利社會的色彩。
現在仍然冇民主、又冇左英國，還想怎樣﹖
沒有民主制衡的資本主義，就是像英國工業革命初期，那種赤裸裸吃人的原始資本主義。中國就像如此，香港也將會如此。
ClubEddy: 「加稅又怕趕走投資」這點，是歸納取消遺產稅、減少投資相關稅收、但又建議開徵銷售稅而言的。
我沒有學過稅務，除了加邊際稅率和累進稅制外，想不到還有甚麼減少貧富差距的方案。但很明顯，現時被商人控制的政府不會做這種事的。
(政府很怕李超人又要說﹕「係咪要我減少投資﹖」吧)
